Originally composed for Voice and Piano, this arrangement of John La Montaine's "Black is the Color of My True Love's Hair" was created for Elise Curran and The Licorice Sticks Clarinet Ensemble (Rick Kissinger, director). Although originally thought of as a Appalachian Folk Song, the origins of this song can be traced to Scotland.
